This graphic novel was action-packed and fun to read. The plot was great and fun. Such a fun story i felt like a child again watching Cartoon Network.
The illustrations were well drawn and not like creepy in a creepy kind of way that some graphic novels tend to do. It was also really colorful. and I loved how the eyes of the monks were drawn.
I don't know about you guys but I loved the Villain, Aku. He was so hilarious i couldn't stop laughing. Great just great.
Samurai Jack has a lot of spirit and dignity and all what you would love to see in a hero and he really shows it in this volume.
If you would like to have a fun time and have a quick read, then you should definitely read this book.

From the cover I can see what you mean about the illustrations not being too creepy. It's a strong cover without being intimidating or scary.
