Synopsis

"You will have a powerful Gift, but it’s how you use it that will show you to be good or bad."

In a modern-day England where two warring factions of witches live amongst humans, seventeen-year-old Nathan is an abomination, the illegitimate son of the world's most powerful and violent witch. Nathan is hunted from all sides: nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. Now, Nathan has come into his own unique magical Gift, and he's on the run--but the Hunters are close behind, and they will stop at nothing until they have captured Nathan and destroyed his father.

Review

For many of you who may not know or have forgotten, I absolutely loved this book, the plot is so intense fast paced and full of action, the story in the second book evolves into such a bigger thing that i could not have expected to happen at all. There is a lot of parts in the story where i was gasping a lot. Also the magic system of this book is so intriguing and you get to learn more about that in this book.
There is more magic more fights, action, killing and just a lot to love from this second book. Sally did it again!

The writing style in this second book is just like the first, there are a few times where Nathan is talking to himself and all that. Also from the way that Nathan talks you can feel the growth he has been through since the beginning of the story.

We get introduced to new characters!
Nathan is still struggling with himself and now he has something else to struggle with which also makes him grow and find himself and it is such a great way of making the character grow and i just love Nathan. Hes the perfect bad boy. I love the way he has changed and how it is potrayed and the non ending battle he has in himself.
I also adore some new characters in this book, they are just so great and we get to see some Celia!
I have no idea if I'm weird but i love Celia so much!
There is also more Marcus to come!
(Nathan is the only one i can actually talk about without spoiling)

There is a kissing scene! I wont spoil it or anything but just know that there is a kissing scene and by the way this book ended, everything is going according to my evil plan! (If you have read the first book you could relate)
The love interest in this book, i love it that it is also one of the things that Nathan is struggling with, he is trying to find himself and isn't sure about certain stuff.. or should i say a certain who.

I would recommend this trilogy to anyone, these books are amazing and you should definitely pick them up.

I gave this book ★★★★★ on Goodreads
